Nicaragua Mission Trip | Day 2
Written by: Craig Radford
Numerous prayers have been answered in the first two days of Bethel‘s trip to Ometepe. After much effort, the final approval for the medical team was obtained from the government midday Monday, and Tuesday was a full day of seeing patients.
The church where the clinic is held has worked very well as a makeshift medical facility. With four semi-private exam areas, 68 patients were able to be seen, and a substantial number were non-church members. Pray that on Wednesday and Thursday people will continue to experience the love and compassion of Jesus as they are seen by the medical team.
The Bible Institute has once again been well attended with very enthusiastic participants. This particular Institute focuses on the doctrine of God the Father. Tuesday focused on attributes of God related to His transcendence, and Wednesday and Thursday will focus on attributes related to God’s immanence and our response to who God is. It has been a rich time for the teaching team and we trust for the pastors as well.
Pray for a strong finish!
