I want to trust jesus as my savior

A prayer trusting in jesus as your savior

This prayer is simply an expression of your faith in Jesus for the forgiveness of your sins. It is you telling God that you are trusting in his Son for eternal life. Saying this prayer is not what saves you. Jesus’s death on your behalf and you believing upon Him alone is what saves you.

“Lord Jesus, I believe you are the Son of God who died on the cross for my sins and rose again. I am trusting in you alone as my Savior and only way of being made right with God. Thank you for forgiving me and giving me the gift of eternal life. As I follow you, help me to become what you want me to be. Amen”

This is the most important decision of your life. By trusting in Jesus as your Savior, you have eternally entered into God’s family as his beloved child. 
 
The Bible says, “To all who did receive Him, who believed in His name, He gave the right to become children of God.” John 1:12
 
Since God cannot lie, you can count on his promise to you! 

Now What? To begin growing spiritually, find a Bible-teaching church near you where you can worship God and learn and grow with other believers.
