Our family loves being a part of Bethel Bible Church. I’ve served as senior pastor of Bethel since we moved here in 2006. My wife Leslie and I grew up in the same West Texas town, but didn’t meet until a “blind date” in graduate school. We married in 1995 and still look forward to our weekly breakfast date together. I graduated from Hardin-Simmons with a Masters in Family Psychology and, after serving 10 years on Young Life staff, attended Dallas Theological Seminary where I earned my Masters of Theology in Pastoral Leadership. I’m currently working on my Doctor of Ministry in Theological Exegesis from Knox Theological Seminary. Leslie and I have three kids – Maggie, Jay, and Katherine. I’m a Mac guy and a pretty big Bible software nerd. I love my family, pie, talking theology, and enjoy the occasional Netflix binge when I find the time.Email Ross (Ross@bethelbible.com)
Executive PastorI attended Bethel for the first time in 1982 as a sophomore Robert. E. Lee student — my family had recently moved to town from the Dallas area. After graduating from West Point and serving in Desert Storm I left the Army, married my wife Sarina, and started a business career. Over the next 15 years I ran and built companies, and our family grew to six kids (elementary through high school). In 2009 I accepted the opportunity to join the pastoral team at Bethel, where I do whatever Ross tells me. I graduated from Dallas Theological Seminary in 2015 with a Masters in Theology. I serve on the school board of Tyler ISD and as a chaplain in the TX State Guard. I enjoy swimming and fishing in my spare time outside of family, work, and school. Downtown PastorI grew up in the Texas Panhandle and spent most of my summers in Monterrey, Mexico. I have been married to Susan for 19 years, and we met at Baylor University where I studied international business and marketing. We have two sons, Ethan and Joshua. I am a graduate of Dallas Theological Seminary where I studied pastoral leadership and discipleship. My favorite part of pastoral ministry is teaching God’s Word to God’s people to move them forward to a Christ-centered life. I love martial arts movies, football, campfires, cherries, and cheese. I can talk faster than you. Email Eric (email@example.com)
Whitehouse PastorBorn in Fort Smith, AR, I grew up in the small town of Ozark. As a High School freshman, we moved to Henderson, TX where I met my wife Marla. We were high school sweethearts and married two years after graduation. I graduated with an accounting degree from the University of North Texas. Marla and I have 3 children, Kylee, Ufayse, and Marcus. I studied Christian Education specializing in youth and families at Dallas Theological Seminary. In December of 2016, I graduated from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Lousiville, Kentucky with a Doctorate of Christian Ministry, specializing in leadership. I am blessed to lead the Bethel Whitehouse campus and find great satisfaction in training and equipping leaders. In my free time, I enjoy running, hunting, building with my hands, and buttermilk pie. Worship Pastor - SouthMy wife Kristen and I moved to Tyler from Lufkin, Texas a few years ago, and I've been leading worship at Bethel South ever since. We have two awesome kids — Jonah, our oldest, is pretty much a video game master, and Finley, the baby, is pretty much a party waiting to happen! Kristen and I have been married since 1998 and we love East Texas. I love writing worship songs, social media, and Batman (not necessarily in that order.) Email Todd (email@example.com)
Missions PastorI love serving alongside our missionaries somewhere around the globe. It's even better when I can take my wife Stefanie and our three kids — Joshua, Alexandra, and Maddie with me on mission trips. We all love crossing cultures and getting our hands dirty to serve missionaries who are working overseas, especially in unreached people groups. Helping others understand God’s love for all peoples from every nation motivates me each day. Most of my career has been in camping ministry, but for the past six years, I've been privileged to serve in Missions and Outreach at Bethel. My free time is usually spent cheering on my kids while they are playing lacrosse, volleyball, or soccer. Email Jeff (firstname.lastname@example.org)

Originally from the south of Houston, my wife-Ann–and I have spent the last fourteen years in the midwest–Chicagoland, St. Louis, and Bloomington, IL. We have two precious kids–Ella, who is 5, and Judah who is 9 months. I’m currently scheduled to graduate from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in May of 2019 with a Masters of Divinity.

South Campus Women's Bible Study LeaderHello! My name is Olivia Heaton. My husband, Taylor, and I met in law school in 2005, were married and moved to Tyler in 2007, and now have three hilarious, beautiful kids that keep us young and on the move. Besides my job as "mom," I enjoy doing photography with my husband, working in our giant vegetable garden, and teaching kids on Sunday mornings. I have been a part of Women's Bible Study at Bethel for many years, and can confidently say this was the place where I became a serious student of God's Word. The Bible is meant to be comprehended and shared, and our aim at Bethel is to do just that - by connecting women to Scripture and to each other through weekly small-group study. We want to develop not just Bible literacy, but a transformative love for God's Word. Whatever stage of life you're at, we would love for you to come and be a part of what the Lord is doing in and through our women's groups. If you're ready to join or just curious, I would love to talk with you! Email Olivia (firstname.lastname@example.org)
