Mark your malendars (man-calendar)! In the manliest of woods behind Bethel Bible Church we will gather for a father-son campout. Bring your 6th to 12th grade sons and prepare to grow closer to each other and Jesus as we study the Bible together, shoot things, build things, grill things and eat things.
We will meet at Bethel Bible Church South in the back parking lot at 6:00 pm. We will leave Saturday the 20th around 3:00 pm.
You will be responsible to bring: a tent, sleeping materials, MEAT or dinner to grill on Friday night (grill provided), Bible, Pen, and/or any change of clothing.
We will provide: a grill, Breakfast and Lunch on Saturday, fire, restrooms, snacks, activities, and a Bible Study curriculum.
Here are a few things you can do between now and our campout:
- Pray – not just for safety or a good time, but that God would greatly move in the hearts of everyone going.
- Memorize – 1 John 2:14 is a great passage for men to memorize. See if your son is up to the challenge and quiz each other each day.
- Read – during our campout we will look at some biblical characters and how they modeled strength: Joseph, Caleb, Gideon, Samson, David, and Hezekiah. Study their stories and see what principles you can learn already.
