DOWNTOWN CAMPUS ELDER CANDIDATE
I have been married to my wife Barbara for 30 years, and we have three children — Justin, Colette, and Melissa, as well as three grandkids. I’ve worked at a natural gas plant for 35 years. It is my pleasure to currently serve as a deacon at the Downtown Campus, but I have been a member of Bethel for 30 years. I enjoy the solid teaching, worship, and the the Body of Christ at Bethel.
DOWNTOWN CAMPUS DEACON CANDIDATES
My name is Clay Nichols. I am married to Amber Nichols. We have one boy who’s name is Coleman. We grew up in East Texas and moved for a short 4 years to Austin, Texas were we learned a lot about our faith and relationship with Christ and the Church. I knew Bethel had solid doctrine and theology and seeing our pastoral staff teach it’s no wonder we came back. We feel blessed to be apart of a church who is a family and a church who loves on people. When I look at Bethel I think of the word intentional.
Hello, my name is Mark Odom and I grew up in East Texas – Chapel Hill Bulldog class of 1985. I married my wife Terri in 1990 and have been blessed with two incredible kids – Tanner and Erin, and one awesome daughter in-law – Mackenzie. Terri and I both work in a family owned small business that my dad started here in Tyler in 1969. We have been attending Bethel Bible Church since Arbor Bible merged with Bethel in 2011. Most Sundays you will find me in the back projecting lyrics and scriptures on the screens during worship service. I really enjoy it and consider it a privilege to serve my God and His church at Bethel Bible Church Downtown. I enjoy music, the lake, football, and anything family.
