Welcome Bethel is glad you have chosen to visit the Bethel Bible Church Web site. If you have not yet begun a personal relationship with God through faith in Christ, Bethel hopes God will use the believers at Bethel to help you in your spiritual search. Everyone starts their spiritual search in the same place — separated from God by his own sin. God's provision is the same for everyone — Jesus Christ died to take the punishment for the sin of all those who place their faith in Him. Placing your personal faith in Christ removes the sin barrier and begins your eternal relationship with God as your heavenly Father. If you are already a Christian, Bethel wants to be God's instrument to help you grow, along with all believers, in loving and serving Him. Bethel is not a “come and sit” kind of church. Bethel's aim is to equip believers to do whatever God has placed them on this earth to do. Bethel hopes you will consider the different ministries at Bethel Bible Church as God's means to help you become the person He created you to be, to provide a place where you can serve Him, and to care for you during times of personal need. Bethel invites you to visit one of its worship services this weekend. When you arrive, please to every opportunity to get the most out of your time. Bethel recommends: - Trust your younger children (birth through third grade) to the care of the Bethel Nursery or Caraway Street Ministry.
- Please do not feel obligated to give an offering to the ministry of Bethel Bible Church. Financial support for the ministries of this church is the responsibility of Bethel members and regular attendees. You are a guest.
- If you are not yet a Christian, but are seeking to know more about God, Bethel is delighted you are coming. At the close of the worship service, several of Bethel's elders will be at the front. Any Bethel elder would appreciate the opportunity to answer any questions that you may have regarding a relationship with Jesus Christ.
What We Believe About the Bible: We believe the Old Testament and New Testament word for word as fully and equally inspired by God and without error, so that they are the divinely authoritative standard for every age and every life. About God: We believe God exists eternally in three persons — Father, Son and Holy Spirit and that these three are one God. About Sin: We believe Adam and Eve were created in the image of God, that in Adam's sin the entire race fell, inherited a sinful nature, and became alienated from God. We are totally unable to regain our former position in and of ourselves. About Jesus Christ: We believe the Lord Jesus Christ, the eternal Son of God, became fully man while retaining His full deity. He was voluntarily crucified and died as a full and perfect sacrifice as our substitute bearing God's righteous judgment against sin. He was raised bodily from the dead thereby guaranteeing our salvation and now sits at the right hand of God interceding for all believers. About Salvation: We believe God totally forgives our sin and declares us righteous as a free gift of His good pleasure through a personal trust in His Son as savior. This results in absolute acceptance before God, eternal life with God forever, and a new nature that is not enslaved to sin. This salvation is of grace and entirely apart from good works, any resolution to live a good life, baptism, or church membership.
