Children's Ministry
Snapshots - (Birth to PreK)
Preschool is divided into two groups:
Baby Snapshots 0-2 after Sept.1 (Nursery)
Snapshots 2-PreK as of Sept. 1
Our goal in Snapshots is to provide preschoolers including our one year olds, with their first impression of a loving heavenly Father. Snapshots takes a first look at who God is and helps preschoolers understand that:
- God made them
- God loves them
- Jesus wants to be their friend forever
We want to partner with parents to build faith and character into their sons and daughters. We want to address the life issues of our children.
Times for Snapshots
Parents can sign in their children beginning at 8:50. A seamless program is provided until the end of the 2nd service (11:45). If just attending 10:30 service, they can sign in beginning at 10:20.
The Gallery - (K-5th)
Worship, Bible Study, Small Group, and Drama
In The Gallery, the Core Virtue for June 2008 is: HUMILITY : putting others first by giving up what you think you deserve.
The Memory Verse for the month is "Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit, but it humility consider others better than yourselves." Philippians 2:3
The Bottom Line for Week 1 : God wants you to remember it's not all about you.
The Bible story is The Tower of Babel, from Genesis 11:1-8.
